This policy explains how ReturnPlus ("the platform", "we") collects, uses, and protects data when you use the platform — whether you are a merchant managing your store or a customer submitting an after-sales request through a store's return page.

Data we collect

• Merchant account data: name, email address, mobile number, and store name when you create an account.
• Store data: when you connect your store (Salla, Zid, Shopify), we receive order and product data through the platform APIs as needed to process after-sales requests.
• Store customers' data: when a return, exchange, warranty, or maintenance request is submitted, we collect the customer's name, phone number, email, and order number; for bank refunds, the IBAN and bank name; and any photos or files the customer attaches.
• Technical data: IP address, login logs, browser type, and cookies for the session and language preference.

How we use data

• Operating the platform and processing returns, exchanges, warranty, maintenance, and ticket requests.
• Creating and tracking return shipments with shipping companies.
• Sending notifications about request status.
• Providing support and improving the service.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only as needed to operate the service, with:

• The e-commerce platform your store is connected to (Salla, Zid, Shopify).
• Shipping companies to create and track return shipments (such as SMSA, RedBox, and Torod).
• Technical service providers (hosting, email, geolocation services) under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities where required by law.

Merchant responsibility for customer data

ReturnPlus processes store customers' data on the merchant's behalf and only to fulfil their requests. The merchant remains responsible for the lawfulness of collecting their customers' data and for the policies they publish to them.

Retention and security

We retain data for as long as the account is active and as needed to operate the service or meet legal obligations. We apply safeguards including encrypted connections and restricting data access to those who need it for their work.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. We respond in accordance with the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Personal Data Protection Law.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the session and for remembering your language preference. We do not use them for advertising tracking.
